Stem Cells Research Paper

Stem Cells Research PaperIn this article, we will look at the role of stem cells in the ultimate goal of all stem cell research. Stem cells are basically those cells which have not been differentiated into any of the more specialized types of cells. They play a vital role in the overall development of the body. After their differentiation, they may be transplanted into the body for treatment of various maladies.A good example of a serious disease where the body is unable to fight itself off is Alzheimer's disease. There are certain medications that can slow down the progress of the disease but these medications only treat the symptoms of the disease. It does not allow the body to repair the damaged cells or take out the damaged tissues. The most prominent and important stem cell is the bone marrow, as it is the main stem cell of the body. Once the body is able to make good use of the blood stem cells, it becomes more functional and generates new healthy cells. The process of generating the blood stem cells begins at the embryonic stage of development. The blood stem cells, which are then transformed into many different types of cells such as plasma cells and platelets will start to differentiate from one another. These new cells that are developed from the blood stem cells to become the most powerful blood cells. Thus, in the initial stages of development, the blood stem cells are formed with such a composition that they are capable of giving life to cells in the body.Once the blood stem cells have produced the basic cells, they are capable of generating various tissues, organs. For example, the red blood cells are produced in the bone marrow in order to provide blood to the body. The white blood cells are produced in the bone marrow and are responsible for the immediate response to an infection or a foreign body. When the body begins to produce insulin or human growth hormone, the bone marrow will begin to manufacture the functional red blood cells. Once the stem cells have produced the hemoglobin, the red blood cells undergo a switch to give the white blood cells. This allows the red blood cells to carry oxygen to the body at a faster rate, which helps the body to function well.In this stem cells research paper, we were able to look at the role of the stem cells in the overall function of the body. By using such a method, researchers will be able to use stem cells for treatment of diseases. This will give hope to people who suffer from diseases like Parkinson's disease, Alzheimers, etc.
